Marcellus Bethea was not just a devoted New Jersey State Trooper; he was also a loving husband and father who always prioritized his family. While training at Division Headquarters, Trooper Bethea passed away. He leaves behind his beloved wife and daughter Bella, just one day before her 2nd birthday.

Proudly graduating as part of the 156th State Police Class, Trooper Bethea has served with the New Jersey State Police for over eight years. During this time, Trooper Bethea has embodied the values of Honor, Duty, and Fidelity as evident through his dedication to the people of New Jersey and fellow troopers.

In light of his sudden and tragic passing, the Troopers United Foundation is collecting donations on behalf of the Bethea Family to help with the significant expenses they now face. Any support, no matter how small, is appreciated.
